![]() ![]() Load Plugin X into both Patchwork instancesĬlick on the instance of Patchwork that is not currently visible via the "Inserts" of the track Here's what's happening:Ĭreate an instance of Patchwork in each track This wasn't obvious as the error message I was getting didn't imply it was the VST and it directed me to the Skins folder of Patchwork, not the VST in question. I now believe that it is the VST I'm hosting in Patchwork that is causing the crash, not Patchwork. I think I've been barking up the wrong tree. Ideas? Is there a way to clean the session's preferences? After installing patchwork I could create a new track with the plug in as an insert but the problem persists in the session where the problem originally presented itself. I've deleted the pro tools preferences, deleted all blue cat audio files and restarted my pc. I never had an issue with Patchwork's AAX plugin for the entire year that I've had it "installed", ie. The Patchwork installer for standalone is a drag into the Applications folder via the installer just as is the aax and other versions. ![]() Uninstall Patchwork and re-install in the default locations the programs wants. I'm guessing there's something you did in the install that is causing your issues. There's no penalty for installing every format a plugin has - the space used is so small. Where did you have Patchwork installed to begin with? The standalone version by default gets installed in the Applications folder and the others on their respective folders.
